The ProCom Group was established in the Spring of 2000 in Hickory, NC as a traditional manufacturer’s representative agency with sales coverage in the Carolinas and the Dixie States. After several significant successes, the company relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in order to support the expanding market base in the region. ProCom’s base product offering consisted of wire, wire harness, motors, switches, and board level components. This base remains intact today, with a smaller emphasis on board level components and enhanced exposure to higher technologies.

The ProCom Group’s major areas of expertise have expanded beyond the original base to rechargeable lithium ion battery technologies, power supplies, LCD & VFD displays and touch screens, remote controls, and non-electrical copper products. The primary markets served by ProCom’s efforts have expanded to Automotive Electronics, Telecommunications, HVAC, Appliance and White Goods, Instrumentation, Lawn, Garden and Agricultural Equipment, Construction Equipment, and Consumer Products. During this period of expansion, ProCom has added electrical engineering, inside sales, and warehousing to support ever-expanding customer and principal expectations.

In recognition of the rapidly advancing Global Economy, The ProCom Group expanded its investment in its customers and principals to service all major customer locations on a global basis. ProCom's efforts in this area have resulted in account location coverage across the entire continental United States as well as Mexico, Europe, and Asia. To further support this effort, The ProCom Group has added enhanced international logistical support and warehousing to its service offerings. In essence,The ProCom Group has broken out of the mold of the traditional representative agency to create a new paradigm-the representative's agency of global service for the 21st Century.
